the answer is yes. Nearly all Idaho courts permit on-line defensive
driving courses. It's always the student's responsibility to have court
permission to take a defensive driving course.

quiz from my computer and how long will it take?
A.. The Idaho Department
of Motor Vehicles requires the final quiz be taken in-person where photo
ID can be presented. The quiz is all multiple choice, taken from the
DrivingUniversity.com website and will take approximately 10
minutes to complete. Click here for more
information about the in-person quiz. If for some reason you do not
pass the final quiz, you can retake it again until you have passed at
no additional charge.

The same day you finish the Driving University online course, your driving school Certificate will be mailed to you. If you complete the traffic school course on the weekend or after 2pm, your Certificate will be mailed the next business day. The court will require you to give them your Certificate if you're taking driving school for a traffic ticket.
